NKNC - Not Knowing, Not Caring (Or So I use to think.)

Back in my 20's I came up with the acronym NKNC. It stood for Not Knowing, Not Caring. That was the attitude I had back then. I lived my life to have fun and didn't really care too much what was happening in the world around me. As I've gotten older that attitude has obviously changed. The recorder is a woodwind musical instrument in the duct flute family, which also includes tin whistles and flageolets. It is played vertically and distinguished by a thumb-hole for the upper hand and seven finger holes on the front. If you have actually heard of the recorder, than you probably had to play it back in grade school. I think I was in the third grade when this little piece of plastic that looked like a flute came my way. To be honest, I thought it was the dumbest thing. Of course, I wasn't the most musically inclined person at that age. But, I did always picture myself charming a snake with it. I wonder if I buy Irish Spring soap just because it has Irish in the name? Is there a subliminal piece of me where that makes it sound better because I have Irish heritage? Perhaps that's true. It makes me wonder if the exact same product, had a different name, would I still use it? So if the product had the name Russian Spring, or Iranian Spring or some other country, would I buy it. Did you know there are over 300 unique Kit Kat flavors, with the vast majority released in Japan as regional or seasonal specialties, such as matcha, sake, wasabi, and sweet potato. While the U.S. offers a more limited selection, Japan’s extensive variety has made it a cultural phenomenon since the early 2000s. But let's look at when Kit Kats even came out. In the late 80's and early 90's Whitney Houston was one of the biggest stars in the world. With over 220 million records sold worldwide, she is among the best-selling music artists in history.
